Shipping

• Free on every order, by USPS Ground Advantage. There's no minimum, and bigger orders get a free upgrade.
• US addresses only. We don't ship outside the United States.
• When it ships: we aim to ship the next day. Extreme weather, a weekend or a holiday can occasionally hold a shipment a little longer.
• Time in transit: usually 2–5 days once USPS has it.
• Tracking: we email your tracking number as soon as your order is on its way, and again when USPS reports it delivered.
• Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.

Free shipping upgrades

• $75 or more: free USPS Priority Mail, 1–3 days.
• $250 or more: free USPS Priority Mail Express, overnight to 2-day, guaranteed.
• Orders add up. Everything you order to the same address before midnight Pacific ships together in one box, and counts together toward an upgrade. Orders from Saturday and Sunday ship together on Monday.
• What counts: item prices after any discount, before tax, rounded up to the next dollar. Need several of one size? Choose how many at checkout.
• Express ships Monday to Friday. An Express box from Friday's orders goes out on Monday instead, so it never sits in the mail over a Sunday.
• Where Express isn't offered: USPS doesn't deliver Priority Mail Express to every address, such as some remote ZIP codes. Those boxes go by Priority Mail instead.
• Your shipping email says which service your box is travelling by. Weather holds still apply.

How it's packed

Each order ships as a live culture in a small vented container, sized by headcount: 3.25 oz for 50 springtails or fewer, 5.5 oz for 100 to 200, and 8 oz for 300 or more. See what to expect when it arrives.

Weather holds

We watch the forecast along the route. In extreme heat or cold we may hold your shipment a day or two so your springtails travel safely, and we'll ship as soon as it's safe.

Returns and refunds

Because they're live animals, springtail cultures can't be returned or exchanged. Instead, every order is covered by our No Recruit Left Behind live-arrival guarantee: if your culture arrives with no live springtails, email orders@springtailfarmy.com within 24 hours of the USPS delivery scan, with your order number and a short video of the culture in its original container. We'll send one replacement free of charge, or refund the order if we can't replace it. There's no need to send anything back.

Changing or cancelling an order

Email orders@springtailfarmy.com as soon as possible with your order number. We can change the address or cancel and refund an order until it ships; once USPS has it, we can't.
